Your GrabPack & Controls: Surviving Poppy Playtime

To survive the horrors of Poppy Playtime in the abandoned Playtime Co. factory, you’ll need to master your GrabPack and understand the controls.

Basic Controls:

• W, A, S, D: Move.
• Shift: Sprint (use wisely, stamina is limited!).
• Spacebar: Jump.
• Mouse Movement: Look around.
• LMB (Left Mouse Button): Use Right GrabPack Hand / Interact (for small objects directly in front of you).
• RMB (Right Mouse Button): Use Left GrabPack Hand.
• R: Retract GrabPack hands (if extended/stuck).
• F: Toggle Flashlight.
• E: Contextual Interact (e.g., picking up VHS tapes).
• Esc: Pause.

Mastering the GrabPack: This powerful backpack with extendable hands is your key tool. You get the blue hand first, then the red.

1. Grabbing & Pulling:
   • How: Aim at an object (lever, handle) until your crosshair changes, then click LMB (blue) or RMB (red). The hand will pull the object.
   • Use: Opening distant doors, moving obstacles, activating switches.
2. Power Transfer:
   • How: This is a common puzzle. Fire a hand (LMB or RMB) into an active electrical outlet (glowing/sparking).
   • Then, without retracting, aim the same hand at a receiver plate and click again to transfer power.
   • Use: Powering doors, machinery, lights. Hands have long range!
3. Swinging/Traversing (Later Chapters):
   • How: Fire a hand at green-lit grapple points. Once latched, swing by moving, then release to launch across gaps.
   • Use: Crossing large chasms, reaching high areas, escaping chases.
4. Button Activation:
   • How: Aim and fire a hand directly at buttons to press them from a distance.
5. Combat/Stunning (Contextual):
   • How: In certain chases (like Huggy Wuggy), you’ll use the GrabPack to hit specific environmental triggers to stop your pursuer.

General Survival Tips:

• Look & Listen: Pay close attention to visual clues and subtle sounds; they often warn you of danger. Use headphones!
• Conserve Stamina: Sprint only when necessary.
• Think Through Puzzles: Don’t rush; observe and plan your GrabPack usage.

Mastering the GrabPack turns you from a vulnerable employee into a capable explorer, ready to face the horrors of Playtime Co.
